A local point worth knowing

Northwich has a long history of brine subsidence, and while modern stabilisation work has dealt with most of it, older properties in and around the town centre can still show movement. That matters for glazing: an opening that’s out of square won’t take a bi-fold properly without packing and adjustment, and a door hung in a moving structure will need re-adjusting over time.
